Motor Neurone Disease Research Appeal
MND is a rapidly progressive, terminal neurological disease, with no known cure. An estimated 1400 people have MND in Australia and thousands more carers and families live with its effects
The MND research currently being undertaken at Macquarie University within the Australian School of Advanced Medicine aims to use our state-of-the-art facilities, including the Macquarie University Hospital, to make significant advances in both the diagnosis and treatment of MND in the near future.
By making a contribution towards this research, you will greatly assist our understanding of this disease and help build a best practice program of world standards that will integrate quality care for MND patients with research directed at putting an end to future suffering.
