Short Term Language Exchange - University of Lausanne (January)
The University of Lausanne - UNIL’s Cours de Vacances has been running since 1895 is committed to the teaching of French to non-French speakers. Students will gain credit towards their Macquarie award program and enhance their language skills through this three-week language immersion program.
Taking place at UNIL from 29 January 2018 until 16 February 2018 this course, which adopts a task-based approach, is for MQ intermediate and advanced French studies (200 and 300-level) students. The course combines intensive French language classes with a small taste of culture and history of Lausanne and Switzerland. Approx. 20 hours of lessons per week will include a focus on general language skills, core grammatical structures, basic vocabulary etc..

To be eligible for this program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Admitted in an undergraduate degree at Macquarie University with relevance to this program
- Enrolled in French Intermediate or Advanced II and have completed French Intermediate or Advanced I at the time of assessment
- Students must have minimum GPA 2.0/4.0 or 4.0/7.0 at time of assessment
- Completed a minimum 12 credit points at Macquarie University at time of assessment
- Satisfy other criteria specified in the Student Exchange Policy
How to apply
Insurance: Travel insurance must be purchased for duration of the trip. More information will be given to successful applicants.
Tuition Fee: Successful applicants will be enrolled into a corresponding Macquarie unit, for which a standard tuition fee applies.
