Short Term Exchange - Butler University (July)
Every July, media students from Macquarie University spend their break at Butler University, studying Journalism and Creative Media & Entertainment. Butler University is located just a few miles from downtown Indianapolis. The nearby Broad Ripple Village neighborhood offers trendy restaurants, shopping and nightspots. When you start at Butler, you’ll find a community of classmates and faculty that are committed to your success. In fact, the U.S.News & World Report named Butler among the top schools in the country when it comes to enriched undergraduate offerings that lead to student success. They concluded that Butler is committed to providing all undergrads with “the best possible educational experience”.
“During the course, I was able to experience a hands-on class dynamic, with most days consisting of working behind the scenes of a film studio from morning until night. We were also lucky enough to watch several news broadcasts as a live audience while in Indianapolis, at both Fox and CBS, and even got to use a green screen to read the weather!” - Hugo James, 2015 participant
