Foundation and Intensive programs
Our programs are specifically designed to help you attain the proficiencies required for admission to a Macquarie University bachelor degree.
Macquarie University International College Programs
Macquarie University International College programs are taught in seven-week blocks called terms. Students study two units in each term, allowing more focused and therefore more effective learning.
If you are trying to decide whether a standard foundation, intensive program or diploma program is right for you, academic advisers at the College can help. They will look at your qualifications and grades as well as your English language skills (if you are an International student), and discuss the best options with you or your nominated representative.
Depending on your academic background and English language proficiency, you can choose a Standard Foundation program or Intensive program. These programs are designed to equip you with the skills and capabilities you need to enter the first year of a Macquarie University bachelor degree.
To fit with your field of interest and future degree, the Standard Foundation and Intensive programs are each divided into 3 specialist streams:
- Business and Commerce
- Science and Engineering
