Professional experience in wireless engineering
Take a lead in new techonological advances in medical science by developing new wireless engineering applications and devices alongside industry professionals through Macquarie University's PACE program.
PACE provides opportunities for undergraduate students at Macquarie University to gain practical experience by working with industry partners on mutually beneficial projects.
Wireless engineering students previously worked alongside doctors to develop a new wearable computing device to enable anaesthetists to assess patient data simultaneously during surgery. During the course of the project the students acquired computer skills relatable to real-time data acquisition, wireless technology and multi-platform programming using the latest software systems. These skills helped equip the students for a careerin computing technology in the medical, industrial or automotive fields.
No matter what you decide to study at Macquarie, PACE has an activity for you. Learn more about the opportunities available through PACE.
