Professional experience in software development
Apply your university studies in a global program and gain important industry skills and experience working with industry partners on mutually beneficial projects, well before you graduate.
Through Macquarie University's unique PACE program, software development students have the opportunity to work in mixed skill set teams on real computing projects for industry partners. Recently a group of students worked with NSW Pittwater Council to produce an mobile application called 'Walking Pittwater' to promote Pittwater's amazing natural environment.
Another group worked with Productivity Bootcamp to develop an application to assist young people to gain employment in the infrastructure industry. The app helped to facilitate financial goal setting, track spending, reflect on positive and negative spending and allow a community forum for praise, encouragement and healthy competition to make real positive change through reflection, awareness and support.
No matter what you decide to study at Macquarie, PACE has an activity for you. Learn more about the opportunities available through PACE.
