Get a head start in industry with Engineering at Macquarie

Industry partners get access to high-performing engineering students and graduates and engage in the program by providing:

  • scholarships
  • work experience
  • industry placements
  • prizes for academic achievement
  • sponsorships
  • guest lectures.

Industry partners also contribute strategic advice on the development of our engineering program. A unique feature of our engineering program is the possibility of final year engineering projects to be conducted as full academic-session full-time industry-based projects with industry partners.

In January each year, industry partners will be requested to provide topics for work-based projects to be offered to our students. With the involvement of industry partners, our students will then be matched to suitable projects.

Our industry partners include Altium, BAE Systems, BCS Innovations, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, CISRO, Cochlear, Datacom, EMC, Google, Honeywell, Huawei, MA-COM Technology Solutions, National Instruments, Rockwell Automation and Optus.

For more information about the Engineering Industry Partnership Program, and how to get involved, please contact EIPP Manager Mr Daniel McGill or EIPP Coordinator (Academic) Professor Eryk Dutkiewicz.
