Get real about costs

We all know that going to university is an investment in your future. But for most of us, the cost of further education is a real concern. That's why arming yourself with the facts about costs and support options can help you decide your next move.

These tips from UAC's Make Your Mark are a good place to start.

Get real about costs

The overall cost of a degree will depend on the type of course you're interested in. Once you've chosen your degree, you'll need to understand the fees and costs involved.

Research support options

While the cost of a degree can seem out of reach, there's a surprising amount of financial support available. HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP are examples of payment options that allow you to delay payment until you've finished studying.

Explore life-changing scholarships

Each year, Macquarie awards more than $2 million in scholarships based on financial need, academic performance or sporting achievement.

Consider all the help available

If you have a disability, receive a Centrelink benefit, are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, or have relocated from a regional area, you may be eligible for financial assistance.

Earn while you learn

Part-time or casual work is a reality for many students. At Macquarie, we offer a range of flexible study options to help you balance work and study.
