Accessibility services

If you need help with any part of your enrolment due to disability, you can register with our Accessibility Service. Assistance is available to help complete the on-campus process and for support throughout your studies.

Follow the steps to accept your offer and complete your enrolment.

1. First time login

Received a direct letter of offer from Macquarie?
Your 8-digit student ID (OneID) is at the top of your offer letter. You'll need this to accept your offer and enrol.

Complete your first time log in

If you are a new student, you will need to complete your First Time Log In before you can access Macquarie University systems.

2. Accept your offer

Accept your offer

Log into eStudent and click on 'My Applications and Offer' to accept your offer. You will be redirected to our Applicant Portal in a new tab where you can view and accept your offer.

If you have applied for and received offers to more than one course, you can accept all of these offers but will only be able to commence one.

Create and provide your Unique Student Identifier (USI)

If you are a Cross Institution student, you must provide Macquarie University with your Unique Student Identifier. Next Step and Non-Award students do not need to complete this step.

The Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a reference number issued by the Australian Government. You will need to create your USI and then provide this number to the University. It is recommended that you create your USI after accepting your offer.

Create USI

Once you have created your USI, you will need to provide this number to us. Click on 'My USI' in eStudent and complete the USI collection form. You must provide this by the Census Date of your first study period at Macquarie.

3. Enrol

Enrol in units

Enrolling is a two-step process that includes choosing/confirming units and class registration. When you are ready to enrol you can:

  • Log in to eStudent and update your personal details if required.
  • Click on the 'My Enrolment ' tab in eStudent.
    • If you cannot see this tab, it might be because you have a conditional acceptance (you have some documents pending). It will be activated as soon as you send all documents.
  • For each unit you choose to study, click on it and then click on 'enrol'.
  • Click on 'My Classes'.
  • Check the class timetables options available and choose the ones you want.
  • If you are enrolling in an online unit, you do not need to register in a class.

If you need extra help, refer to our enrolling information.
