Greater flexibility for theological studies

The School of Christian Studies is pleased to announce that it now has approval to teach the following additional Australian College of Theology courses:

Bachelor of Christian Studies by distance

Graduate Diploma of Christian Studies by lecture, intensive and distance modes

Master of Arts (Christian Studies) by lectures and intensives.

This is in addition to our current offering of degree level studies by lectures, and diplomas and advanced diplomas in all modes.

These additional courses aim to equip undergraduates and graduates in other disciplines with the theological understanding and skills needed to apply a Christian perspective to professional and vocational studies and other personal interests. The Christian Studies courses are ideal for those involved in education, health and aged care, community services and business. They will be equipped more fully for Christian service in life, work and ministry situations.

Those unable to attend campus lectures because of location, work, church or family responsibilities, will find that these newly approved courses enable them to gain accredited qualifications from their own home or workplace. These courses are open to full-time and part-time students. They are fully articulated with other Australian College of Theology awards.
