MQ Carer Conference Support Scheme

| Aim | The primary purpose of the Macquarie University Carer Conference Support Scheme(MQCCSS) is to assist academic staff who have carer responsibilities to attend and present at academic conferences. |
| Funding | Funding up to $500 is available for a conference within the Sydney metropolitan area, $1000 for a national conference outside the Sydney metropolitan area, $1500 for conferences in Western Australia, the Northern Territory or far North Queensland and $2000 for an international conference. |
| Faculty contacts | The Faculties have their own approval and review processes for grants under this scheme. They may also have deadlines for submission of draft applications that are earlier than the Research Office deadlines. Please ensure that you contact your Faculty, as early as possible, for information on process and deadlines. | Key Dates | This scheme is open for continuous submission and assessment. The date of the proposed conference cannot be less than 2 months from the time of application. Applicants should be aware that funding is limited and it is advantageous to apply early. |
