3rd Polar Marine Diatom Taxonomy and Ecology Workshop

Registrations are now closed.

Cost of the Workshop is AUD$250 for students, AUD$350 everyone else. Form to be submitted by 6th of June.

Registration Fees include morning and afternoon teas, workshop memorabilia and the conference dinner, plus return transport on the night, 6th of July.

Conference dinner can be paid separately if attending the dinner, without paying the registration fee.

Applications for funding closed on the 6th of May.

Funding was provided by PAGES, ARCNESS and ABRS.

Australian and oversease particpants could apply for PAGES and ARCNESS funding using the registration form.

Australian participants could also apply for ABRS funding through ABRS directly, deatils outlined below.

Particpants could apply for more than one source of funding but be the recipient of only one.

The Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) offers small grants to Honours, Masters and PhD students in Australian institutions who wish to travel to the 3rd Neogene Marine Diatom Taxonomy and Ecology Workshop. A maximum of $500 is available for this workshop. Applicants must be enrolled at an Australian institution in post-graduate studies in taxonomy or systematics.
Evidence of registration at the conference and evidence that a poster or oral paper presentation was submitted to the organisers of the conference must be provided to the ABRS. This evidence can be provided either upon submission of the bursary application, or with submission of the final report.
