Public Private Partnerships: Exploring the Issues
Professor Jane Broadbent, Professor of Accounting
School of Management, Royal Holloway, University of London
Professor Richard Laughlin, Emeritus Professor of Accounting
Department of Management, King's College London, University of London
Public private partnerships (PPPs) have been used in the UK, Australia, and in other countries for the provision of public services. Many recommendations are available on the pre-decision processes to guide the design of the initial long-term contracts. This presentation explores the issues surrounding how to evaluate the longer post-decision operational stage of these PPPs where few recommendations are available.
Professor Nonna Martinov-Bennie from International Governance and Performance (IGAP) Research Centre will introduce Professor Broadbent and Professor Laughlin on this great occasion.
The seminar is FREE and by attending you will earn one CPD hour.
