The evolving role and exposures of audit committees

Evolving risks, liability, technological advancements and complexity in reporting, among a myriad of other factors, have led to continuous change and challenges for audit committee members in recent years. A half-day forum jointly hosted by CPA Australia and the International Governance and Performance Research Centre (IGAP) at Macquarie University looks at the changing role of the audit committee, and what this means for directors, external and internal auditors, investors and other stakeholders.
