Dr Mikaela Jorgensen awarded the inaugural Jeff Cheverton Memorial Scholarship

Dr Mikaela Jorgensen has been awarded the inaugural Jeff Cheverton Memorial Scholarship established by the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA) together with Brisbane North Primary Health Network (PHN) and North Western Melbourne PHN.

During the six-week scholarship Dr Jorgensen will conduct a review of local and international research on the impact of consumer-directed care following community aged care policy reforms.

Recipients of the scholarship will also have the opportunity to spend 6 weeks working with a peak national body in Canberra.
