ERA – World-leading research
at Macquarie University

ERA 2010 assessed the research quality of all 41 Australian universities. In total, 80 per cent of Macquarie's research activity was rated as performing at world standard or higher.

Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) is a research quality evaluation program for Australian universities. It was introduced by the Australian Government through the Australian Research Council.

Eighty per cent of Macquarie's research activity was rated as performing at world standard or higher. Find out more about the areas in which Macquarie received ERA rankings of 5 and 4.

In 2010, Macquarie awarded eight professors the title of Macquarie University Distinguished Professor.
