Tuition Fees

  1. Domestic undergraduate students - Students currently enrolled in a degree at Macquarie University will be charged HECS rates for Session 3 units. Students can choose to pay upfront or defer their fees via HECS-HELP.
Domestic cross-institutional students- Students from other universities can apply to study Session 3 units on a cross-institutional basis. A letter of authority from your home institution is required, stating your Commonwealth Supported Place status and confirming that the Session 3 unit(s) at Macquarie will count for credit towards your award (degree) at your home institution upon successful completion. A certified copy of your official academic transcript must also be submitted with your application.

Please note that if you are a Commonwealth Supported student and wish to pay your fees in full you need to pay 90% of the outstanding amount. Prior to 2012, you only needed to pay 80%.  See http://www.studentadmin.mq.edu.au/fees/csp.html for further details.

Tuition fee information is available at http://www.mq.edu.au/unifees/

  2. International Students - International students currently enrolled in a degree at Macquarie University  will continue to pay fees. Tuition fee information is available at http://www.mq.edu.au/unifees/

  4. Domestic postgraduate students in a Commonwealth Supported Place will be charged the HECS rate; all other domestic postgraduate students will incur the domestic full fee rate associated with their program.
  5. Non-award students - Students may study Session 3 units on a non-award basis, which means that individual units may be studied without being enrolled in a full degree program. Students must meet any set pre-requisites for the unit they wish to enrol into. Non-award tuition fee rates will apply and information is available at http://www.mq.edu.au/unifees/

All Session 3 tuition fees are due by 31 December 2011. Late payment of tuition fees will result in a $200 late fee being imposed. Non-payment of Session 3 tuition fees will result in your Session 3 enrolment being cancelled.
