If you are unable to attend your final examination because of unavoidable disruption or if you are affected by illness or circumstances beyond your control before or during your exam whereby you believe has prejudiced your performance, you may be eligible to apply for special consideration.

Please check the relevant Faculty website for information regarding the submission process for Special Consideration requests.

Requests for special consideration for Session 3 units must be lodged within two (2) working days after the date of the examination for the unit, or the date of the submission for the final assignment/take home examination.
 

Unavoidable Disruption

If you believe that you have been experiencing unavoidable disruption, please contact the Centre for Open Education as soon as possible for further advice. The definition of unavoidable disruption can be found at our glossary webpage.

Any requests to withdraw from a Session 3 unit due to unavoidable disruption must be submitted to the Centre for Open Education in writing with supporting documentation. Please read the Special Consideration policy for more information.
