Review of Academic Structure

Background

For a university, the academic structure is central to the way it goes about its business, and determines how it interacts with its environment. A review of the academic structure is therefore an important part of the continuous review process used by any university to ensure it is still capable of functioning well and achieving its aims as its environment changes.

For Macquarie University, embarking on the ambitious path set out in Macquarie@50, it is then vitally important to ensure that our structure is capable of facilitating our ambitions for achieving excellence in research and teaching.
