Macquarie University Students

MQ Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students
Username: Student ID number
Password: OneID password

Please note: If you are both a student and a staff member, use your staff OneID to login.

Go to Student IT Help for password help and information on accessing other university systems such as eStudent, myMQ Portal, the wireless network or online courses.
 

Macquarie University Staff

Username: "mq" then your staff number (e.g. mq20071234)
Password: OneID password

Other Library Card Holders

Username: ID number on your library card (Contract staff: please capitalise the "SB" in your ID)
Password: Last 8 digits of the barcode on your Library Card (e.g. if your barcode number is 2 2109 05413 0151, your Password is 54130151)

Associate Borrowers

• You may access most databases and online journals from within the Library.
• To view your borrowing information, click MyLibrary in the Catalogue and follow the instructions.

Alumni

• To view your borrowing information, click MyLibrary in the Catalogue and follow the instructions.
• Alumni are eligible for free remote access to some EBSCO Alumni Databases. To take advantage of this offer, complete this Database Access Application Form. A separate user ID and password for EBSCO Alumni will be provided on receipt of your application.

SIBT Students

• You may access databases and online journals on-campus.
• To renew loans or view your borrowing information, click MyLibrary in the Catalogue and follow the instructions.
