Entry Extended: Monday September 15th - please bring all entries to MUPRA [C5A-325].
The annual MUPRA photographic competition continues in 2008 with a few changes. Massive $100 prize will be awarded to final winner of the competition. The competition will be judged by the MUPRA committee.
All entries should be submitted framed and ready for hanging. The largest size is 60cm by 60cm. Entrants can submit up to 3 photographs for judging. All entrants must submit their name, address, phone number, email, signature and the title of entry. Please do not add captions to your photographs, as MUPRA will provide these. Entries will be exhibited at Staff Club from 21st September to 02 October. The judging criterion is:
1. Light
2. Composition
3. Framing
4. Texture
5. Originality
6. Interpretation of category - ' Discovery '
Conditions:
Entries may be any type of photographic media. The digital format of the winning entry will be acquired by the Association. All copyright will, of course, remain with each winner. All entries will be held for collection after the exhibition.
The committee and MUPRA reserve the right to use all or any of the photographs for non-commercial, promotional purposes. Photographs
must be shot specifically for the 2008 MUPRA Photography Competition and must be the original work of the entrant. The committee will not be responsible for any loss or damage to either part or the whole of any entry prior to, during, or after the period of the competition. The committee reserves the right to hang or leave unhung any entry due to space considerations.
