Research Park
Set on a 7 hectare site on the Macquarie University campus, The Research Park consists of 5 corporate buildings with a further development consisting of the new private hospital and clinic coming on line in 2010.
The Research Park's aim is to become internationally recognised as a science and research park that fosters economic development through research and innovation arising from the successful interaction of higher education, commerce, industry and government.
The Park maintains the open bushland ambience of the university with a landscaped creek bed and surrounding pathways. Furniture installations and a coffee cart facility (to be installed shortly) encourage Park tenants to meet informally.
The Park provides a vibrant and stimulating home to a number of leading Australian and international companies. Most companies enjoy some form of collaboration with the University's research park.
