Instructions for Subscribing

There are two methods of subscribing:

  1. Using RSS feeds - subscribing using RSS means that you will receive an notification in your RSS reader / browser when a new interview is being released.
  2. Through iTunes - when you subscribe through iTunes, the interview will be automatically downloaded into your iTunes when a new interview is being released.

Using RSS

It is highly recommended that you install either Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox (1.0 and above) to use the RSS options. If you have Internet Explorer 7 installed, you have to simply click on the subscription link and Internet Explorer will have instructions to guide you through the process. If you do not have either of these browsers, you will need to subscribe through a feedreader, such as the Google reader.

Using iTunes

  1. If you do not already have iTunes installed on your computer, download iTunes for free at: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and follow the instructions for installation.
  2. You can subscribe by clicking on the link provided (with the iTunes subscription logo podcast icon). Alternatively, you can open iTunes, go to Advance > Subscribe to Podcast. In the subscription dialogue box, type in the URL http://www.mq.edu.au/learningandteachingcentre/for_staff/engage_students/rss.xml and then press OK.
  3. You should be able to see Engaging Students being listed in your list of subscriptions.
