Wimba Live Classroom
Wimba Live Classroom provides the means to conduct scheduled online meetings with learners or other colleagues. The facilitator controls the meeting and may provide slides and other content, and users can share a white-board and communicate via text, audio and in some circumstances video.

Wimba Course Genie
Wimba Course Genie provides the means to convert Microsoft Word documents into standard, accessible web pages which can be easily imported into a variety of learning platforms, including Blackboard CE6 and Moodle.

Moodle
Moodle is a Learning Management System which is sometimes used as an alternative to Blackboard CE6, because of its wide variety of third party modules and the ease with which it can be customised due to the fact that its source code is open.

Podcasts
A podcast is a program containing audio and/or video content published over the Internet at regular intervals, where episodes can be automatically downloaded as they are released by subscribing to the podcast using special software.
