The 10 optional questions chosen by Departments for the Learner Evaluation of Unit questionnaire enable them to focus on a particular aspect of unit design and delivery that may be of interest.
The Head of Department, in consultation with the individuals or committees responsible for managing and monitoring student feedback, chooses up to 10 questions (1 or 2 groups of questions) focusing on the issue(s) identified for investigation.
The questions are then used on all unit questionnaires ordered for that particular Department, for an evaluation cycle or longer.
If TEDS received no pre-selected questions, the units evaluated in the Department will use only the 14 core questions.
