In addition, Management Information Unit administers surveys for Divisional and Institutional Development. These questionnaires are focused on providing information at the program level. The resultant reports are designed for use in a wider institutional development process and therefore will be available to those responsible for policy and institutional development. The instruments used are:

  1. Macquarie University Student Experience Questionnaire (MUSEQ).
  2. Macquarie University Student Experience Questionnaire - Postgraduate Coursework (MUSEQ-P).
  3. Macquarie University Student Experience Questionnaire - Research (MUSEQ-R).

The TEDS instruments should not be used in isolation as student feedback gives only one view of teaching and learning quality. The information provided by other methods of evaluating outcomes should also be available at the time of Institutional/Divisional, Organisational Unit and/or individual reflection and review.

For more information regarding additional evaluative tools, see Informal Evaluation.
