Introduction to Social Bookmarking for Assessment - Mon 6 April, 1.00-2.00pm
This hands-on workshop introduces instructors on how to use ‘mass’ collaboration and meta-tagging with students, to encourage deeper learning and research in disciplinary contexts. Learn how to scaffold readings and digital sources online, and how to engage students in critical thinking using social bookmarking.
Introduction to Google Applications in Learning - Wed 8 April, 12.45-1.45pm
An introduction to working with Google’s online, collaborative applications The session explains how to tame ‘mass email’ overload, and instead work online with Google applications to co-produce, edit, share and publish documents such as Unit Outlines and reading lists.
