What is a CIG? - A Common Interest Group.
A CIG is a discussion, driven by the people in it, to ask, reply and work towards creating stronger teaching and learning. Each group is fellowed, supported and actively explored by the Learning and Teaching Centre’s staff. The CIGs provide the opportunity to add your voice, to lead a tribe, start a discussion and support each other. The purpose of the CIG community is to identify, support and facilitate teaching and learning - beyond what is current to what is possible. These CIGs are open to all!
Current topics include e-portfolios, Second Life, Web 2.0, Blackboard and iLecture, Podcasting, Live Classroom and more. There are also resources including videos, weblinks and blogs.
