Biography

Michelle Chew was appointed Survey Analyst to the Learning and Teaching Centre in January 2008.  In 2004, she was the Administrative and Technical Support Officer in TEDS within the Centre for Professional Development.
Prior to this appointment she held:

  • Teaching positions in secondary schools and institutes in Malaysia, New Zealand and Australia and teaching programs at NCELTA, Macquarie University
  • Research, policy and planning positions within the Department of Education and Training in NSW where she was involved in managing strategic information and advice to senior officers of the department and relevant stakeholders.

During her public service career, she has managed large and complex databases and has expertise in data management and analysis.

Research

Her research activity is concerned with the improvements to the administrative and technical processes to further the development of the TEDS.
