Academic and Vocational Qualifications:
Relevant Experience: Ian has been involved with University students since 1981. He lives with University Students at Robert Menzies College which is on-site at Macquarie University. He eats with, lives with, churches with Uni students. He is married to Narelle and they have a daughter Beth (11 yrs of age in 2006) and a dog called Chyna who are also constantly involved with University students. Ian has been an Anglican Minister for 12 years (including 4 years on Norfolk Island) and currently Pastors the church at Robert Menzies College (Called Trinity Chapel) which is for University students of Macquarie University and members of the local community who are passionate about University ministry. Trinity Chapel is a non-denominational church which meets every Sunday at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the grounds of Robert Menzies College. "As a Chaplain I want to be there for University students and staff to enable them to better know Jesus, his love for them and what he desires for our lives. I love praying with people and for them. I am working with the Christian University groups in their ministries during the week and provide a church at Trinity Chapel for people who live in the local area and who can attend on Sundays to be reached and taught how to be mature followers of Christ." << BACK |
