Currently MQ enrolled students who are either in the final trimester of their Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting or waiting to commence the CPA extension of Master of Accounting Program. WEP is offered to students who do NOT have prior accounting work experience (paid or unpaid) in Australia.
WEP provides students with an opportunity to participate in a 70 hour placement performing accounting tasks.
Be invited to join the program by the Department of Accounting and Finance through an email alert.
Follow the instruction in the email and register to join WEP in the advertised registration period. The first 50 eligible applicants are accepted into the program.
Attend the ‘Gaining Work Experience’ workshop and an interview with the WEP Coordinator who assesses placement suitability.
