MACQUARIE UNIVERSITY is one of the few tertiary institutions in the world where Croatian language, culture and literature are taught for the purpose of training specialists. The Croatian program at Macquarie University and Croatian Studies Centre are promoting language learning, research and publications dealing with Croatia and Croatians both in their homeland and in Australia.

CROATIAN STUDIES CENTRE consists of two parts:

• Croatian Studies Centre with library and Croatian Archives,
• Croatian Studies Program with thirteen units available anywhere in Australia as a part of Certificate in Languages (Croatian) and Diploma in Languages (Croatian).

CROATIAN UNITS can be studied in external or composite mode and:

• As a part of Macquarie University degree
• As a part of Diploma in Languages program
• As a part of a degree at any Australian university (Cross-Institution) and as a Single Unit (Non -Award Students)
