Academic Program
The Centre offers rigorous academic programs based on current research, theory and practice. Our Postgraduate programs lead to progressive awards of Certificate, Diploma or Master in Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism (MPICT) or International Security Studies (MintSecStuds) or Computer Forensics.
All academic programs are available on campus and via distance education.

Entry Requirements:
Acceptance into the Masters program requires that the applicant hold an undergraduate degree from a recognised university. However, it is possible to articulate into the Masters program upon successful completion of the Postgraduate Diploma.
Acceptance to the Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma is based on the applicant having a degree from a recognised university, or, for those without a first degree, a minimum of five years relevant work experience supported by evidence of professional attainment.

Australian and New Zealand applicants are requested to submit the following documents with their application:
- Resume
- An original certified copy of your official university academic transcript.
- An original certified copy of your official university degree.
- An original certified copy of one of the following:
Australian Birth Certificate
Australian Citizenship Certificate
Australian Passport
Australian Residency: An original certified copy of the passport information page and visa page.
New Zealand Applicants - please provide an original certified copy of your passport information page.
Note:
If you do not have an undergraduate degree you may wish to submit an original certified copy of the certificate and results obtained in professional courses.
Offer
Once your application has been assessed and accepted, applicants will be offered a place in the appropriate program.
Enrolment Process
On acceptance of a PICT offer, applicants are sent enrolment information by email.
PICT students do not enrol online.
The enrolment Information email includes:
- Enrolment Instructions
- Unit Selection for Enrolment form
The 'Unit Selection for Enrolment' form, once completed, can be returned by email or fax for processing.
On completion of the enrolment process a confirmation email will be sent. This email will confirm the units that the student has enrolled in and it will also list a number of important points that are pertinent to the student's enrolment.
ARTICULATION (Progression Option)
Applicants who apply for either the Postgraduate Certificate or the Postgraduate Diploma program will have the opportunity to progress to the Masters program via Articulation. Students who maintain a consistent rate of progress and achieve the requirements of their current program will be permitted to progress to the next level and receive full credit for the units already completed.
