Club overview

The Macquarie University Table Tennis Club was formed in 2014 and is a group of students and community members who are interested in playing social and competitive table tennis. The club trains at the Macquarie University Sports and Aquatic Centre in the Recreation Hall and provides coaching as well as the opportunity to represent Macquarie University in various table tennis competitions.

All levels of skill are catered for so if you are a beginner or an experienced competition player looking to meet some new people then join the club today!


Season information

The club plays year round with league-style round-robin tournaments held twice a year (during spring and autumn seasons).


Competition details

The club competes in the Sydney Northern District Table Tennis Association (SNDTTA) which is the oldest and largest table tennis association in New South Wales.


Membership

You can sign up at the Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre Customer Service Desk or online membership is available in three steps:

  1. Visit the online portal if you are a new member or if you have previously registered for a different club or have a gym membership please sign into WarriorWeb.
  2. Choose 'Table Tennis Community' ($200/year) or 'Table Tennis MQU Student' ($100/year) options - whichever is relevant to you
  3. Fill in your personal details, pay your membership fee and enjoy unlimited table tennis for the next 12 months!

You can then collect your club membership cards from the Customer Service Desk.

Student Membership - $100 for 12 months

Community Membership - $200 for 12 months


Training

  • Mondays: 6.30pm - 10pm
  • Tuesdays: 6.30pm - 10pm
  • Saturdays: 4pm - 7pm
