Club overview

The mission of Macquarie University Rowing is to support and develop their members in reaching their sporting goals in a fun and spirited environment. 

The club rows out of the John Lincoln boat shed at Tambourine Bay on the Lane Cove river. Learn to Row program run each session. Experienced rowers can also utilise club facilities.  

Season information

The Macquarie University Rowing Club trains and competes all year round.

Macquarie University Rowing has a number of sporting opportunities and programs available in 2016 including:

  • University Games teams
  • NSWRA Regatta series
  • Learn to Row programs for university students
  • Learn to Row programs for the community
  • Junior development program
  • Sports Scholarship program
  • Corporate rowing

University Rowing program

The University Rowing program is a key area aimed specifically at university students during the summer and winter months. University Rowing plays a three part role in the structure of the program, development and performance. 


Non student member: $550 for 12 months

Student member: $400 for 12 months
