Club overview

The Macquarie University Quidditch Club is a proud member of the Australian Quidditch Association, a subset of the International Quidditch Association.

Quidditch is a co-ed sport, based on the sport of the same name featured in J.K. Rowlings Harry Potter series, adapted to be playable without magic by an American, Alex Benepe in 2005. It is a full-contact sport played around the world.

We welcome players of all fitness levels, and all sporting backgrounds. With a range of competitive tournaments, social games, and events there's a place for everyone to be a MacMarauder.
