Head of Department

Professor Janaki Amin

Janaki Amin’s career has focused on infectious diseases including surveillance for NSW Health, vaccine preventable diseases at the National Centre for Immunisation Research and over fifteen years of research in HIV and Hepatitis C clinical trials and cohort studies at the Kirby Institute. She is currently an investigator in large implementations studies of HIV prevention in NSW (EPIC-NSW) and Hepatitis C treatment in prisons (STOP-C).
