Introduction

  • Expertise as a clinician, researcher and educator in paediatric physiotherapy.
  • Joined the physiotherapy team at Macquarie University in 2013.
  • Main teaching role at Macquarie University is in the development and teaching of the paediatric physiotherapy curriculum. 
  • Awarded the Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Scholarship in Allied Health Sciences for 2013-2014 while completing her PhD.
  • PhD investigated the effectiveness of physiotherapy, and the multisystemic effects, of Joint Hypermobility Syndrome in children and adolescents.
  • Awarded the 2009 Systematic Review of the Year Award by the American Journal of Sports Medicine.
  • Research interests extend to other chronic, complex musculoskeletal conditions presenting in childhood, such as achondroplasia, osteogenesis imperfecta and congenital talipes equinovarus.
