Department of Philosophy
The units offered by the Department of Philosophy encompass a diversity of philosophical approaches which equip students with a range of analytical and creative skills. All our teaching, whether in traditional face-to-face or distance modes, is informed by a commitment to create positive learning environments in which students can become aware of and develop their talents for philosophy.
The Department currently has 15 academic staff plus three post-doctoral researchers. The recent expansion of the Department is a sign of our success, both as a provider of high-quality education and as a producer of internationally significant research. Read more about us
